- Stomach Fire (burning hunger, swollen gums)
- Stomach Yin xu (hunger without desire to eat, peeled center)
Etiology
Liver invading the Stomach; Phlegm; Food stagnation; Cold or Heat in the Stomach.
Treatment Principle
Descend Stomach Qi; treat the cause.
Representative formulas. Xuan Fu Dai Zhe Tang; Ju Pi Zhu Ru Tang; Zuo Jin Wan if Liver Fire is the driver.
Representative points. REN-13, REN-12, REN-10, P-6, ST-36, ST-19.
