Full Heat in the Lung at the Qi level, with or without much Phlegm.

Differentiate from

  • Wind-Heat (still some aversion to wind, floating pulse)
  • Phlegm-Heat (sputum and greasy coat dominate)

Treatment Principle

Clear Lung Heat; descend Qi.

Representative formulas. Ma Xing Shi Gan Tang; Xie Bai San in lurking Lung Heat.

Representative points. LU-5, LU-10, LI-11, DU-14, BL-13.
