Overview

Emergency. Icy limbs, desire to sleep, and a minute pulse can be shock. Historical pattern label only. Send to emergency care if the patient is collapsing. Do not treat as an outpatient pattern first.

Heart-Kidney Yang collapsing. Systemic interior Cold.

Differentiate from

  • True Heat, False Cold (crimson dry tongue, rapid pulse)

Treatment Principle

Rescue Yang; warm Shao Yin.

Representative formulas. Si Ni Tang; Zhen Wu Tang if water overflows.

Representative points. REN-4, REN-6, DU-4, KI-3, ST-36 with strong moxa.
