Relationship to Heart and Kidney not Communicating. Same axis (Heart Fire above, Kidney Yin below), different frame. Shao Yin Heat is the Shang Han stage — it follows Cold damage that has gone interior and transformed into heat. Heart and Kidney not Communicating is the internal-medicine pattern — chronic overwork, anxiety, aging, or excess sex, with no febrile course required. Load both. Do not merge. Pick Shao Yin Heat when the history is a cold-damage or febrile trajectory; pick Heart-Kidney when the history is chronic depletion.

- Heart and Kidney not Communicating (chronic, no Shang Han course)
- Heart Fire Blazing (fuller pulse, yellow coat, less Kidney emptiness)
