Description

Zhi Ke Tang (Stop Coughing Decoction), from the Guang An Men Yi Yuan (Guang An Men Hospital) — a variation of Zhi Sou San.

Actions: Releases wind from the exterior; Eliminates phlegm; Nourishes yin; Descends Lung qi.

Presentation: Symptomatic treatment of cough from various causes (external wind-heat or wind-cold, Lung yin deficiency, others).

Cautions:

  • Effective cough suppressant, but the underlying cause should be identified and treated for best results
