Description
Shao Yao Hou Po Tang (Peony and Magnolia Bark Decoction), from the An Hui Zhong Yi Xue Yuan (Anhui University School of Medicine) — a variation of Shao Yao Tang.
Actions: Drains damp-heat; Regulates qi circulation; Strengthens the Spleen; Stops diarrhea.
Presentation: Intestinal disorders with damp-heat, Liver qi stagnation, and Spleen deficiency: alternating diarrhea and constipation, abdominal bloating, pain or mucus, flatulence, and a feeling of incomplete evacuation.
