Overview

Heat binding the Intestines — the Zang-Fu name for dry stool with heat.

Relationship to Yang Ming Fu. Same organ, different frame. Heat in the Large Intestine can be a standalone Zang-Fu constipation-heat picture with no Shang Han course. Yang Ming Fu is the Shang Han fu stage: tidal fever, worse-with-pressure fullness, delirium, deep excess pulse. Load both. Use this page for Zang-Fu or chronic heat-bind; use Yang Ming Fu when the case is an interior excess febrile stage.

  • Large Intestine Dryness (no strong Heat, elderly or after fluids damaged)

Treatment Principle

Drain Heat; purge accumulation.
