Description

An Shen Ding Zhi Wan (Calm the Spirit and Settle the Will Pill) treats Heart Qi and Blood deficiency with phlegm disturbing the Heart. The formula combines Heart tonics with Qi-transforming, phlegm-clearing herbs to calm the spirit and anchor the will. It is particularly indicated for fright, anxiety, and palpitations from Gallbladder Qi deficiency.

Preparation

As pills or decoction. Decoct 25–30 minutes, take warm in 2 doses/day.

Dosage

Pills: 6–9g twice daily. Decoction: 1 dose/day.
