Overview

Spleen Qi deficiency progressed to Yang (cold) deficiency.

Etiology

Chronic Spleen Qi deficiency, excessive cold foods, or over-treatment with cold herbs.

Pathomechanism

Deficient Spleen Yang cannot warm and transform, producing interior Cold and Damp.

Treatment Principle

Warm and tonify Spleen Yang; dispel Cold.
