Overview
Emergency. High fever with frank bleeding, a crimson-purple tongue, or convulsions. Historical pattern label only. Send to emergency care. Do not treat as an outpatient pattern first.

- Ying Level (faint rash, less frank bleeding)
Treatment Principle
Cool Blood; stop bleeding; extinguish Wind if present.
Representative formulas. Xi Jiao Di Huang Tang family — rhinoceros horn is banned. Substitute Shui Niu Jiao (water buffalo horn) at a higher dose.
