Location
On the back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of T7.
Needling
Depth:
0.5–0.8 cun
Angle:
Oblique, directed medially
⚠ Cautions: Pneumothorax risk on deep perpendicular insertion.

- Nourishes and cools the blood
- Descends rebellious qi and relieves hiccup

Indications
Blood stasis of any kindanaemia and blood deficiencyhiccup, belching and difficulty swallowingcoughing or vomiting of bloodnight sweatschronic skin disordersasthma
Clinical Notes
The Hui-Meeting point of the blood: tonified for blood deficiency, reduced for blood stasis, and one of the Four Flowers with BL19 for chronic depletion.
