Energetics dose-weighted
The formula's overall nature, taste balance and channel reach, weighted by each herb's dose. Classical formulas often pair warm and cool herbs on purpose, so a net figure summarises the mix — it doesn't describe every herb in it.
Nature
Net slightly warm (+0.48)
From 100% of the weighed grams.
Grams by band: cold 8%, neutral 28%, warm 64%.
Small but decisive: Ze Xie 30g (cold, 4% of the grams), Sheng Di Huang 30g (cold, 4% of the grams). Dose weighting nearly cancels a herb this small, but it may be what the formula is for.
Taste
- pungent 8%
- sweet 57%
- sour 19%
- bitter 3%
- salty 8%
- bland 4%
From 100% of the weighed grams.
Channels reached
- Kidney 96%
- Liver 40%
- Lung 36%
- Heart 32%
- Spleen 24%
- Large intestine 20%
Share of the grams entering each channel, from 100% of the weighed grams.
Dose-weighted from each herb's recorded nature, taste and channels (missing values are left out, never counted as neutral). It describes the composition — it is not a recommendation.
Preparation
Decrease the dosage according to the original proportion, and decoct with water for oral use; or mix with honey and make into pills, 9 g each pill, take one pill each time, 2–3 times a day
