Description
Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang (Tonify the Middle to Augment the Qi) is the primary formula for Spleen Qi deficiency with sinking of Qi. Developed by Li Dongyuan, it uniquely treats the failure of deficient Qi to maintain its lifting function, addressing organ prolapse, chronic diarrhea, and the unusual presentation of low-grade fever from deficiency. Its uplifting action is achieved through Chai Hu and Sheng Ma combined with potent Qi tonics.
