Description

Ju Yuan Jian (Lift the Source Decoction), from the Jing Yue Quan Shu (Collected Treatises of [Zhang] Jing Yue) by Zhang Jie-Bin (Zhang Jing-Yue) — a variation of Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang.

Actions: Tonifies qi; Causes yang to ascend.

Presentation: Severe qi deficiency with near-collapse of yang qi and profuse bleeding: prolapsed organs, continuous menstrual bleeding.

Composition: Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang minus Chen Pi, Dang Gui and Chai Hu, with a higher dose of Ren Shen.
