Energetics dose-weighted
The formula's overall nature, taste balance and channel reach, weighted by each herb's dose. Classical formulas often pair warm and cool herbs on purpose, so a net figure summarises the mix — it doesn't describe every herb in it.
Nature
Net cool (-0.94)
From 100% of the weighed grams.
Grams by band: cold 38%, cool 29%, neutral 22%, warm 11%.
Small but decisive: Chuan Lian Zi 9g (cold, 3% of the grams), Xia Ku Cao 15g (cold, 5% of the grams). Dose weighting nearly cancels a herb this small, but it may be what the formula is for.
Taste
- pungent 18%
- sweet 25%
- sour 3%
- bitter 39%
- salty 14%
- bland 2%
From 100% of the weighed grams.
Channels reached
- Liver 75%
- Stomach 39%
- Heart 37%
- Lung 30%
- Large intestine 20%
- Kidney 15%
Share of the grams entering each channel, from 100% of the weighed grams.
Dose-weighted from each herb's recorded nature, taste and channels (missing values are left out, never counted as neutral). It describes the composition — it is not a recommendation.
Preparation
Grind into fine powder, form into pills with honey. Each pill is 9 g; take one pill each time, three times a day.
