Location
On the palmar aspect of the forearm, 1 cun proximal to the wrist crease, in the depression between the styloid process of the radius and the radial artery.
How to locate: One cun above the wrist crease, immediately lateral to the pulsation of the radial artery — the cun position of the pulse.
Needling
Depth:
0.2–0.3 cun
Angle:
Perpendicular, avoiding the artery
⚠ Cautions: The radial artery lies immediately medial — locate the pulse and needle lateral to it. Moxibustion is classically avoided here.

- Descends Lung qi and relieves cough and wheezing
- Clears the Lung and benefits the throat
