On the palmar aspect of the forearm, 1.5 cun proximal to the wrist crease, on the radial side of the tendon of flexor carpi ulnaris.

Depth:
0.3–0.5 cun
Angle:
Perpendicular
⚠ Cautions: The ulnar nerve lies close by — withdraw and redirect if the patient reports an electric sensation into the little finger.
