Meeting point of the Ren, Du and Chong Mai — their common point of origin
Location
On the perineum, at the midpoint between the anus and the posterior border of the scrotum in men, or the posterior commissure of the labia majora in women.

Depth:
0.5–1.0 cun
Angle:
Perpendicular
⚠ Cautions: Contraindicated in pregnancy. Intimate location — needling requires explicit informed consent, a chaperone where appropriate, and in most practice is replaced by moxibustion or by patient-applied pressure.

- Regulates the lower orifices
- Clears damp-heat from the genitals
