⚠ Safety & Contraindications

Contraindications

Not to be used with Chuan Wu, Zhi Chuan Wu, Cao Wu, Zhi Cao Wu or Fu Zi (十八反). ChP 2020 gives this caution on both 川贝母 and 浙贝母.

Source: Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China, 2020 ed., Vol. I: 川贝母; 浙贝母.

⚠ Rule-Based Cautions

These entries come from the deterministic rule tables that gate Verscienta's formula tools — classical pair prohibitions, pregnancy and lactation contraindications, dose ceilings, and drugs outside the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. The botanical-genus entries are different: advisory notes are not part of the safety screen; the Aristolochia genus check is.

Incompatibilities (十八反 / 十九畏)

  • 十八反: Wu Tou × Bei Mu — avoid combining with Fu Zi / Aconite / Aconitum / Chuan Wu / Cao Wu / Wu Tou / Shu Fu / Hei Shun Pian / Fu Pian / Guan Bai Fu / Xue Shang Yi Zhi Hao / Aconitum brachypodum
