Description

Yu Ping Feng San (Jade Windscreen Powder) is the classic formula for strengthening Wei Qi and consolidating the exterior to prevent recurrent illness. The formula creates a 'jade windscreen' against pathogenic invasion by tonifying Spleen and Lung Qi while consolidating the exterior. It is essential for immune deficiency, recurrent colds, and spontaneous sweating from Wei Qi deficiency.

Preparation

Can be taken as powder with warm water. As decoction: simmer 20–25 minutes and take warm.

Dosage

Powder: 6–9g 2–3x/day. Decoction: 1 dose/day. Long-term preventive use is appropriate.
