Location

On the dorsum of the hand, between the fourth and fifth metacarpal bones, 0.5 cun proximal to the metacarpophalangeal joints — just proximal to TE3.

Clinical Notes

With Xia Bai it forms a two-needle Kidney Dao Ma. One of the most-used points in the system for lumbar pain of the deficient type, and usually needled opposite the pain.
