Location
Two points on the dorsal aspect of the thumb, on the ulnar side of the midline of the proximal phalanx, at the junctions of its thirds.
Needling
Depth:
2–3 fen
Angle:
Perpendicular, shallow; both points needled as a pair
⚠ Cautions: Needle the left hand in men and the right hand in women, per Tung's convention.
