On the groin, 5 cun below the umbilicus, 2 cun lateral to the anterior midline, superior to the inguinal groove where the femoral artery pulses.

⚠ Cautions: The femoral artery lies at the point — palpate and needle to one side. Contraindicated in pregnancy.
