At the elbow, in the groove between the olecranon and the medial epicondyle of the humerus.
How to locate: The ulnar nerve groove — the 'funny bone'. Flex the elbow to open the groove.

⚠ Cautions: The ulnar nerve lies in the groove — needle gently and withdraw if a strong electric sensation shoots into the hand.
