Location
On the upper abdomen, 4 cun above the umbilicus, 0.5 cun lateral to the anterior midline.
How to locate: With the patient supine, place the little fingers on the sternocostal angle and the centre of the umbilicus and spread the hands evenly until the thumbs meet at the midpoint (4 cun above the umbilicus). The point is at that level, 0.5 cun lateral to the midline, level with CV12.
