Location

On the lower abdomen, 4 cun below the umbilicus, 3 cun lateral to the anterior midline.

How to locate: With the patient supine, measure 1 cun up the midline from the upper border of the pubic symphysis to CV3, using proportional cun (umbilicus to symphysis is 5 cun); the point is 3 cun lateral to CV3, level with KI12 and ST29.

The principal extra point in gynaecology, and a standard component of infertility and prolapse prescriptions. Distinct from CV19, which shares the pinyin Zigong but is written 紫宮.
