Location

On the sacrum, 1.5 cun lateral to the midline, level with the first posterior sacral foramen.

Needling

Depth: 0.8–1.2 cun
Angle: Perpendicular

Functions

  • Separates the clear from the turbid and regulates the small intestine
  • Clears damp-heat from the lower burner
