Location

On the upper back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of T5.

Needling

  • Shallow needling only
Depth: 0.5–0.8 cun
Angle: Oblique, directed medially
⚠ Cautions: Pneumothorax risk on deep perpendicular insertion.
