Description
Xin Yi San (Magnolia Flower Powder), from the Ji Sheng Fang (Formulas to Aid the Living) by Yan Yong-He.
Actions: Releases wind-cold from the exterior; Opens the nasal orifices.
Presentation: Nasal obstruction caused by wind-cold: stuffy nose, profuse, clear or white nasal discharge, and headache.
Note: the book also describes a formula of the same name from Yi Fang Ji Jie (p. 85). This record follows the Ji Sheng Fang version.
