Description

Xiao Luo Wan (Reduce Scrofula Pill), from the Yi Xue Xin Wu (Medical Revelations) by Cheng Guo-Peng.

Actions: Reduces scrofula; Nourishes yin; Dissolves phlegm and softens hardness.

Presentation: Hardness and nodules: hard lumps or nodules anterior or posterior to the ear or on the neck; dry mouth and throat; and a bitter taste in the mouth.

Cautions:

  • Use with caution in Spleen deficiency with loose stools

Preparation

Steam Xuan Shen and Bei Mu; calcine Mu Li and grind with vinegar; powder all, form honey pills; 9g with boiled water twice daily.
