Energetics dose-weighted

The formula's overall nature, taste balance and channel reach, weighted by each herb's dose. Classical formulas often pair warm and cool herbs on purpose, so a net figure summarises the mix — it doesn't describe every herb in it.

Nature

Cold Cool Neutral Warm Hot

Net cool (-0.98)

From 100% of the weighed grams.

cold cool neutral warm hot

Grams by band: cold 1%, cool 97%, neutral 0%, warm 1%, hot 0%.

Small but decisive: Rou Gui 4.5g (hot, 0% of the grams), Qing Fen 4.5g (cold, 0% of the grams), Da Huang 15g (cold, 1% of the grams), Sheng Di Huang 15g (cold, 1% of the grams). Dose weighting nearly cancels a herb this small, but it may be what the formula is for.

Taste

pungent sweet sour bitter salty
  • pungent 5%
  • sweet 89%
  • sour 0%
  • bitter 2%
  • salty 4%

From 100% of the weighed grams.

Channels reached

  • Large intestine 90%
  • Liver 11%
  • Heart 9%
  • Spleen 9%
  • Stomach 2%
  • Kidney 2%

Share of the grams entering each channel, from 100% of the weighed grams.

Dose-weighted from each herb's recorded nature, taste and channels (missing values are left out, never counted as neutral). It describes the composition — it is not a recommendation.
