Description

Si Huang San (Four Yellows Powder), from TCM External Medicine (Zhong Yi Wai Ke Xue).

Actions: Clear heat and resolve toxins and invigorate blood. Indicated for the treatment of sores and ulcers with yang pattern, accompanied by local red swelling and hot pain, red tongue, and rapid pulse

Indications: It is not suitable for patients with local ulceration

Preparation

Grind the ingredients into fine powder, use appropriate amount, and mix evenly with water or honeysuckle flower distillate, then apply on the sores; or mix evenly with Vaseline into oil paste according to the proportion of 1:4 and then apply
