Description
Qian Zheng San (Lead to Symmetry Powder), from the Yang Shi Jia Cang Fang, is used to expel wind and phlegm; relieve spasm.
Presentation: facial paralysis; facial muscle spasm from wind stirring accumulated phlegm; epilepsy due to wind and phlegm (clinical use).
Syndrome: Syndromes caused by external wind, damp, cold or heat.
Composition strategy:
- very small but strong and quick formula focused on wind-phlegm of the face
- warm alcohol spreads the substances to the affected region and acts as assistant and envoy
Cautions:
- Bai Fu Zi and Quan Xie are very poisonous; control dose and treatment course carefully
