Energetics dose-weighted
The formula's overall nature, taste balance and channel reach, weighted by each herb's dose. Classical formulas often pair warm and cool herbs on purpose, so a net figure summarises the mix — it doesn't describe every herb in it.
Nature
Net slightly cool (-0.52)
From 100% of the weighed grams.
Grams by band: cold 18%, cool 39%, neutral 22%, warm 22%.
Small but decisive: Zhen Zhu 1.8g (cold, 3% of the grams), Xiong Dan 1.8g (cold, 3% of the grams). Dose weighting nearly cancels a herb this small, but it may be what the formula is for.
Taste
- pungent 30%
- sweet 26%
- bitter 31%
- salty 13%
From 100% of the weighed grams.
Channels reached
- Heart 62%
- Liver 56%
- Spleen 36%
- Lung 33%
- Stomach 31%
- Large intestine 22%
Share of the grams entering each channel, from 100% of the weighed grams.
Dose-weighted from each herb's recorded nature, taste and channels (missing values are left out, never counted as neutral). It describes the composition — it is not a recommendation.
Preparation
Grind the ingredients into powder, make into pills and coat with sheet of gold as size of phoenix tree seed, and take in doses of 3 pills, 1–2 times a day; for external use, dissolve it with vinegar and apply on the affected area
