Dui Yao — Core Herb Pairs

The classical two-herb combinations at the heart of this formula, as recorded on the herbs' own pages — each pair has an action neither herb has alone.

Dang Gui当归 + Yang Rou羊肉

Warming, nourishing animal flesh combined with nourishing and moving blood, which warms the middle and supplements blood deficiency with cold.

Postpartum abdominal pain or cold hernia pain from blood deficiency with cold.
