Location
On the dorsum of the hand, in the depression on the radial side proximal to the head of the second metacarpal bone — corresponding closely to LI3.
Needling
Depth:
0.5–1.0 cun
Angle:
Perpendicular; or pricked to bleed for high fever in children
Bleeding technique: Pricking Da Bai to bleed with a three-edged needle is Tung's classical treatment for high fever in children.
