Meeting point of the Spleen and Liver channels with the Yin Wei Mai
Location
On the groin, lateral to the femoral artery at the level of the upper border of the pubic symphysis, 3.5 cun lateral to the anterior midline.
Needling
Depth:
0.5–1.0 cun
Angle:
Perpendicular, lateral to the artery
⚠ Cautions: Palpate the femoral pulse and needle lateral to it. Contraindicated in pregnancy.
