Location

On the face, in the depression between the centre of the anterior border of the tragus and the posterior border of the condylar process of the mandible, which deepens when the mouth is slightly open; between TE21 and GB2.

How to locate: Ask the patient to open the mouth; a clear depression appears in front of the ear, between TE21 above and GB2 below.
