Location
On the lateral abdomen, at the free end of the eleventh rib.
How to locate: With the arm adducted and the elbow flexed, the point lies where the tip of the elbow touches the side of the trunk.
Needling
Depth:
0.5–0.8 cun
Angle:
Oblique
⚠ Cautions: The spleen lies deep on the left and the liver on the right — do not needle deeply or perpendicularly.
