Location

On the face, at the midpoint of the tubercle of the upper lip.

Focks' Atlas of Acupuncture places it on the midline where the philtrum meets the margin of the upper lip.

How to locate: Find the tubercle, the small central prominence of the upper lip just below the lower end of the philtrum; the point is at its midpoint.
