Location
On the knee, in the depression medial to the patellar ligament, with the knee flexed.

Depth:
0.5–1.2 cun
Angle:
Oblique, directed laterally and posteriorly into the joint space

Knee pain, swelling and stiffnessosteoarthritis of the kneeweakness of the leg
Clinical Notes
The medial member of the Xiyan pair; ST35 is the lateral. Needled together they frame the joint.
