Location

On the forehead, directly above the pupil, 1 cun within the anterior hairline.

How to locate: With the patient looking straight ahead, follow a vertical line up from the pupil and measure 1 cun above the anterior hairline. If the hairline has receded, ask the patient to frown or feel for the change in skin texture to find the original hairline; GB14 lies lower on the same pupil line.
