On the nape, 1 cun posterior to TE17, behind the ear lobe.

How to locate: Find TE17 in the depression behind the earlobe, between the mandible and the mastoid process; on the line from TE17 towards GB20, measure 1 cun posteriorly to reach the point behind the mastoid.
