Expels wind and benefits the head and eyes
Relaxes the sinews of the ankle

Indications

Insomnia and daytime somnolenceepilepsy — particularly daytime seizuresheadache and dizzinessneck and back stiffnessankle painred and painful eyes

Clinical Notes

Paired with SI3 as the Yang Qiao/Du Mai opening combination. With KI6 it forms the classical insomnia pair: reduce BL62 and tonify KI6 at night, reversed for excessive sleepiness.
