On the face, in the depression at the medial end of the eyebrow, at the supraorbital notch.

Needling

Depth: 0.2–0.5 cun
Angle: Transverse, threaded laterally along the eyebrow toward Yuyao, or downward toward BL1

Functions

  • Expels wind and clears heat from the eyes and head
  • Relieves frontal headache
  • Stops hiccup
