About

Shiatsu is a Japanese form of therapeutic bodywork that uses finger and palm pressure, stretches, and joint mobilization to stimulate the body's acupoints and energy pathways. Shiatsu means 'finger pressure' in Japanese and draws on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine while also incorporating elements of Western anatomy and physiology.

Sessions are performed on a mat on the floor, with the client fully clothed.

Benefits

Shiatsu relieves physical tension and muscle stiffness, reduces stress and promotes deep relaxation, alleviates back, neck, and joint pain, improves energy levels and reduces fatigue, supports digestive health, balances the nervous system, promotes emotional wellbeing, and enhances overall body awareness and circulation.
