Shiatsu is a Japanese form of therapeutic bodywork that uses finger and palm pressure, stretches, and joint mobilization to stimulate the body's acupoints and energy pathways. Shiatsu means 'finger pressure' in Japanese and draws on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine while also incorporating elements of Western anatomy and physiology.
Sessions are performed on a mat on the floor, with the client fully clothed.
