Botanical Description

Fumaria reuteri (Reuter's fumitory) is a slender, scrambling annual herb in the Papaveraceae (Fumarioideae) with much-divided, glaucous, fern-like leaves and racemes of small tubular, two-lipped pinkish flowers tipped with dark purple. It produces small rounded one-seeded nutlets. It is a Mediterranean and western European species of cultivated ground, waste places and field margins, part of the taxonomically complex Fumaria officinalis aggregate.
