Botanical Description

Alchemilla sarmatica is a perennial herb in the Rosaceae, an Eastern-European apomictic microspecies within the Alchemilla vulgaris (lady's mantle) aggregate, found in meadows, grassy slopes, and woodland margins. Like others of the aggregate it has palmately lobed, rounded, often softly hairy leaves that hold beads of dew, and branched cymes of small, petal-less yellow-green flowers.
