Description

Yang He Jie Ning Gao (Yang- Harmonizing Coagulation- Resolving Ointment), from Life-Saving Manual of Diagnosis and Treatment of External Diseases (Wai Ke Zheng Zhi Quan Sheng Ji).

Actions: Warm the channels and harmonize yang, dispel wind, and dissipate cold, regulate qi and invigorate blood, dissolve phlegm and unblock the collaterals. Indicated for the treatment of dorsal furuncle, multiple metastatic abscess, scrofula, and phlegm nodule (superficial nodule) caused by wind-cold and phlegm coagulation and stasis obstruction of qi and blood, with no change of the local skin, obscure boundary, diffuse and headless swelling, no scorching hot sensation, pale tongue with greasy coating, and soggy pulse

Indications: Its use is prohibited in the affected area with red swelling and hot pain
