Description
Wu Zhu Yu Gao (Evodia Plaster), from Seeking Accuracy in the Materia Medica (1769).
Actions: Guides heat downward
Indications: Sores of the throat, mouth, or tongue
Pattern: Heat from internal disharmony rising to mouth and throat
Composition note: No amounts printed; powder mixed with enough vinegar for a moist paste, 1/4-1/2 teaspoon per foot.
Commentary: Draws heat down to relieve symptoms but does not treat the root; also used for acute hypertension and headaches from ascending fire.

Preparation
Grind wu zhu yu fine, mix with rice vinegar into a paste, apply to KI-1 (yong quan) on both feet under cloth tape overnight.
